A taster/check-in reading example for 'Sharon' (name has been changed for client confidentiality) who asked for guidance as to whether he/she could trust their ex-partner coming back into their life.

I’m seeing that it’s taken him time to come to this decision. More specifically it’s taken him time to realize that you are all that he wants and what he’s wished for, the separation between you both was the catalyst to make him come to this awakening - he wouldn’t have come to this conclusion without this event.

He comes in with confidence, even though you may not see it, there is a confidence within him and he feels as though he will be victorious in regards to his approach back to you and that you’ll be open to him and what he says. His offer is genuine, he’s offering you a cup of love which is stable and has foundations to it. Is he someone who has many admirers? The cards possibly are giving the message that he has many people looking up at/to him - could be admirers, perhaps he’s fairly popular or has a high role in the workplace.

He feels really passionate in coming back to you and becoming a partnership again - however still be the slightest bit wary, as the Knight of Wands energy is here. Although he has his stable cup of love, his approach may come across as very fast/passionate and out of the blue. However what he wants deep inside is this rekindling of a partnership between you both. It’s possible that the period of separation has led to him to act quickly.

I see a third party situation here (I’d like to note that even if this wasn’t made aware to me through our messages, it would’ve still come up and be intercepted in that way through the cards). I see that through him seeing you in the possibility of being with someone else other than him, it’s made him realize what he wants. He took a look at all the resources he had and realized that he was the maker of his own reality, so he took it in his hands and decided that the only way he could achieve his happiness and what he wished for was to act.

Alternatively, he may be putting you on a pedestal in his mind. Seeing you almost as a trophy, something he desires of which he’s decided to act to gain.

Something in his subconscious/unconscious has been illuminated. Did he treat you poorly in any way during the relationship/time together? I feel as though during this sepation, he’s come to this realisation and his actions have been brought to light - allowing him to contemplate on them. This has led him to wish for a new start, a fresh beginning.

I do see a lot of emotion here in this situation, as well as a lot of fiery passion. Be aware of the passion - part of the energies I’m seeing through the cards are fast action. Not necessarily a ‘player’ energy, but despite him having taken time to come to this decision, I feel as though his approach (and if you accept him back) it has the chance of moving very quickly. You’re not being told to have your guards up and I don’t see any worrying information here, but what I’m being asked by spirit is to advise you to be cautious - but not in the sense that it’s a worrying/anxious cautious in which you have the possibility of manifesting a negative outcome. But just remember in the world that there is duality in everything - there is nothing 100% evil nor is there anything 100% good.

Overall this is a very positive reading and his actions seem genuine and loving - as said before, there is no potent worrying information other than this fast-pace energy I see and cards showing sneaky behavior of which I was led to interpret as his past actions towards you which he’s become aware of.
